Brad's car came in for a 1.8T 20v conversion. We also undertook a full brake system replacement. This included replacing all hard lines, also upgrades including G60 front callipers, Focus stubby master cylinder and braided flexy hoses .
Suspension has also been upgraded to fully adjustable GAZ coil overs and a full stainless steel Trackslag exhaust system.
We have also corrected many wiring issues on this car.
When Rob’s car came in, we undertook welding repairs to the floor panels, sills, rear arches, chassis rails and rear panel. It has also had the complete underside and engine bay stripped, blasted, rust treated, stone guarded and painted body colour.
We also fitted a 1.8T 20v (BAM) engine conversion. The 02J gearbox has been fully rebuilt and upgraded with Quaife Ltd slip differential (to aid traction due to the increase in power). A taller fifth gear was fitted (To make it more comfortable to cruise at higher speeds). A brand new fuel system, which included fuel tank, braided teflon fuel lines, coupled with AN6 fittings. We replaced all suspension components, including full polly bush setup, new bottom arms and KW coilover suspension.
Fully replaced and upgraded complete braking system.
The front seats were replaced with Porsche Boxter seats. The centre of both of these seats, were retrimmed with the original Mark 1 fabric. The original rear seats had their outers re-trimmed in leather to match the front seats.
Adrian's car came in for a 1.8t 20v (BAM) conversion , under further inspection after removing the standard 1.8 gti engine we discovered that the car had an excessive amount of rot to the drivers side inner flitch and front panel , once all of the necessary repairs were undertook we proceeded to completely respray the engine bay and colour match under the front arch's .
Adrians 1.8t rebuild consisted of a full strip down , clean and replacement of all gaskets and seals throughout the engine , the inlet manifold , rocker cover and charge pipe were sandblasted and finished in a satin black powdercoat
A Trackslag 3 inch downpipe was fitted to the engine which we the then coupled to a full jetex system
The old dual mass flywheel was removed and replaced with a darkside developments lightened singlemass flywheel and vr6 clutch.

All fuel lines were replaced throughout the car including a bosch 044 pump and new fuel filters.
Due to the car now having over 2x the power it left the factory with we upgraded the braking system with new lines throughout , braided flexis, g60 callipers and carriers , EBC yellowstuff pads and mintex drilled and grooved disks.
All bushes were replaced with superpro polybushes and all suspension components were sand blasted and powder coated in a high gloss black finish before refitting.
For the interior the front seats were replaced with fully electric Porsche seats retrimmed to match the standard gti trim.
